The trip
We carried out a conservative intervention, with significant work restoring existing elements such as the stairs, woodwork, ceilings, and even some pieces of furniture like the display cabinet and the dining room sofa. Relying on great professionals and artisans was essential to preserve the identity of the place and achieve harmony between the original features and the new interventions.
The kitchen is one of the standout spaces; designed in collaboration with the Vonna Estudio team, it features minimalist cabinetry with marble details and a central wooden island. This room is crowned by a wonderful breakfast area with views of the garden, an ideal corner to enjoy long hours of tranquility.
The living room and dining room, completely connected, underwent a thoughtful redistribution that adapts to the family's needs, creating fluid spaces for relaxation.
The attic, although the intervention has been primarily decorative, has a very special charm, with the wooden ceiling and existing carpentry standing out.
The indoor-outdoor relationship is very present throughout the project, reinforced by constant nods that bring the garden into the interior of the house: the entrance mural (Paul Anton), the breakfast room wallpaper (GPJ Baker) and the master bedroom closets (Coordonné), the Floreo wall lamps in the dining room, the ceiling lamps in the bathroom and dressing room…
Berta Sanz (Estudio del Paisaje) was in charge of the entire landscape design, providing structure and filling the wonderful garden, dotted with fountains and small cisterns, with life—a space where nature and design coexist in total harmony.
