COMPREHENSIVE HOME RENOVATION AND DECORATION

Fernández de la Hoz - 2020

Our goal was to design connected, light-filled spaces where visual continuity would enhance the sense of space.

The 4 cardinal axes we worked within were connection, transparency, flexibility, and independence.

We planned each room to be lived in and to adapt to everyone's needs.

Ultimately, a home for young and old alike that makes us feel: “there's no place like home.”

Master bedroom

In the master bedroom, we proposed an open-plan space, with a dressing room integrated into the washbasin area. We designed a central piece of furniture featuring our Dame la Chapa wall lamps as the focal point, which stand out against the neutral materials of the wood and stone vanity.

Kitchen and breakfast area design

The kitchen and breakfast area breathe tranquility and spaciousness. The upper cabinets are clad in the same material as the countertop, creating a clean and meticulously crafted design. The breakfast area has direct access to the dining room via a concealed door, located between the two display cabinets we custom-designed for the space.

Light and neutral tones have been fundamental in bringing light to this home. All of this is combined with a few select pieces that add color and sophistication to the space.

Kids' zone

The children's area was very important in this project, and it is in this space that we wanted to convey more freshness and a more fun touch of color.

A wood and glass enclosure serves as a partition between the girls' room and the playroom.

Oak wood bunk beds with gingham fabric are the stars of the sleeping area and provide plenty of storage.
