Camellia brunnea
Latin name: Camellia brunnea
Common name: Earthy camellia
The Camellia brunnea gets its name from the color of the clay tile with which it has been molded. Its lobed petals have some parts in gloss and others in matte, resulting in a subtle and delicate contrast of light reflections within the piece.
The lighting in this collection invites contemplation through light. Thanks to its mirrored bulb, it highlights the piece, leaving it all illuminated and allowing you to discern the different textures that make it up. Using cutting-edge technology, its steel finish bulb allows you to pulse-regulate its intensity in three steps without the need for dimming on the wall.

Inspired by the Camellia
Camellia is a genus with more than 300 different species, native to Asia, which was introduced to Europe in the 18th century.
The most widely used species for ornamental purposes is Camellia japonica, which has a shrub-like habit and is an evergreen with dark, glossy green leaves. It is the one we usually see in gardens.
Its flowers can vary in size and shape, depending on the conformation and arrangement of their petals, and can be single or double, in the shape of an anemone, a peony, or a rose. They are generally white, reddish, or pink in color.
They bloom profusely and elegantly from autumn to spring in temperate climates,
or in late spring in cooler climates.
Their flowers have the particularity that when they wither, they do not lose their petals one by one, but rather detach from the stem and fall to the ground intact, showing their integrity until the end.
For this reason, the camellia symbolizes eternal beauty, resilience in the face of adversity, and elegance.
